I disagree on this point. I very much sympathize with the notion of oppressed people wanting to strike out. But we are not responsible for their condition. We have also not shown a willingness to bomb them. The Gulf War, wether commercially motivated or not, was in defense of an agressor who was threatening his neighbours. This was an individual who has used poison gas on women and children and waged aggressive and murderous campaigns his own people. If the Arab people want to look for someone to blame for their condition they need look no further than their fellow Arabs. To try and justify their terrorist activities against the west as being in response to our actions is misguided.
