I just did a screen for stocks with very low valuations of price/cash. I limited the screen to stocks with negligible LTD and market cap > $45 M, and I eliminated stocks with p/b > 4 and PSR > 7. I also eliminated insurers and a couple of oddball categories like ADRs and co.'s with multiple classes of stocks

Out of the 7000 stocks in the Telescan database, there are simply no stocks meeting these requirements with a cash/market cap ratio < 1.0. So cash does appear to be a floor, at least in today's market.

MTSN is the 11th stock on my list of low cash/market cap ratio, ranked by this ratio. Stocks appearing higher on the list include two others in the industry: BRKS and SFAM. That's out of 7000 stocks in the Telescan database.

This gives me some confidence that MTSN is not likely to fall much farther. Not below 3, anyway, because that would move it to the top of the list.
