Paul, Rooting for the underdog is as old as history. We all know AMD is in a 'stern chase' and applaud any gains it makes. The fact that Intel runs a 'dirty' race seems unsporting to those steeped in the sporting ethos, however it is not a sport and there will not be any rematches. The only analog of a sport is the referree as you could call the DOJ, however he seems to be asleep at the whistle. In addition I favor AMD as without AMD every CPU would be $400+ more out of my pocket, or do you feel that altruistic Intel would have cut prices in a vacuum? bill
