Henry I was reading over some of your posts... gotta give you credit for not being afraid of taking a position in some very unpopular subjects. I am not a big fan of Hitler nor any person of his ilk, but Americans have a selective system for recording our history, and playing down the rest. Stalin's, The Hutu's and Tutsi's, that recently deceased Cambodian ruler (forget his name)and a couple of 100 maniacs over history, comitted atrocities equally as bad as what Hitler did... **** I am not condoning or trying to justify any of these travesties. My point is if the Americans did not go to war and shed blood with these other historic bad people then they do not rate the hatred that the bad guys we went to war with. Also there were no photo camera's or TV cameras to drive the point home. I am a student of history also, and certainly would not have wanted to be a jew living in Hitlers regime, any more than I would have wanted to have been a Christian living in Rome in the early years of its rise to "global dominance". The same atrocities were committed and one evil ruler is no better or no worse than the other... but sometimes history doesnt record it that way. KAA
