for some one who has been using P&F since the 60s let me tell you that P&F is effective in any market. The bullish charts really jump out at you in a bear market. In fact I ve had some of my best gains in bear markets especially as the bear market starts to come to an end and more and more charts start turning bullish. I just love those bottoming out patterns as I ve stated in the past. There it is sell signal in IBM @122 Chartseer
