Stockman
Let's look at the 'news'. I have addressed this before.
Dell and his wife Susan sold 1.25 million shares valued at more than $108 million ... Impressive, no doubt. Seems like a lot. Does the article mention that he continues to hold one hundred million shares? Nowhere that I read.
... on May 26 thru 28 ... Uh... did I say "news"? Correct me, if I'm mistaken, but isn't MAY history now?
... and he planned to sell another 2.1 million shares worth about $249 million around August 21. ... First, he sells some every quarter, after earnings. Second, after September 4th, he will still only hold about two hundred million shares.
Now, please. Can you tell me that this article is telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? Does it appear slanted to you--in any way? Shall we laud the authors of the article for their objectivity? Is it a) merely sloppy research? b) truly sensational news? c) carefully architectured to reflect true situations in the worst possible conceivable light at what might be considered a highly vulnerable time, even dredging up past history to increase the impact?
your call.
