Quantum under $14 and Seagate dipping to $20 again. Are these prices reflecting the prices at Fry's, or are we seeing panic pricing? Quantum has a annual meeting next month which I will attend. I hope to hear something that could give the company some reason to be. When I left on vacation last month, I ventured a rumor that Sony was looking to buy a drive maker. Any body ever hear anything to substantiate this wild story? I see where Dell would like to go to 0 days inventory. That gets a little too weird. At some point, the whole concept of inventory has become blurred. These disk drive companies sure are whipping boys. At what point do they say no more? Regards, Mark
