Ok....I just have to vent about cnbc and some of the misleading information they provide. Also, this raises another point and that is whether or not sebl/vntv, etc. really belong in the ERP sector or should have their own ERM sector...I think this whole erp sector confuses a lot of people who don't understand it so these companies just get lumped together and called ERP.

The other day cnbc was talking about the ERP sector and how poorly it's performing. As an example they talked about PSFT, VNTV and ITWO. That bothered me simply because the three companies had completely different issues. If they'd said vntv had a poor quarter I wouldn't have had as much a problem but they said they didn't know what happened.

Today they're talking about JDEC and how it's the only company in this sector with growing license fees. Well, if vntv is in the sector then so is sebl by default. JDEC grows license fees by 66%. SEBL grew by 100% and doesn't get mentioned. Not only they don't get mentioned....they lead people to believe JDEC is the only one growing licenses. I just have a big problem with this.

My point is that I wish they would just get it straight once and for all. Personally I don't think the SFA/CIS vendors should be lumped in with the true ERP vendors. Just because someone sells "enterprise" software doesn't mean it's ERP software per se. But if they're going to all be lumped together then at least report accurate information.

Sorry, it's bad enough to watch stocks going down but when they get help from misinformation I can't help but get irritated. Now that I've written this here...I'm going to go send cnbc an e-mail to the same effect.
