I really did not know Reed. Personally I didn't think his backround was a good fit. From a postive impact, he changed some of the structure/culture especially the psychosis about job titles. From a negative, the folks he brought in under DAugust were empty suits and just as nepotisitc as the CS folks. The problem continues to reside in the culture and the "matrix management" philosophy. Everyone has all the authority and no responsibility or accountability.The way to be noticed and advanced is to expouse another departments mistake and destroy some poor risktaker. The challenge is quite obvious as is the solution, changing cultures is a difficult task, it has to be driven by Craig, Craig has to demand accountability and he has to stop taking everybodies BS calls. Force the decisons back wjere they belong.
