Yes, Cisco is off. However we were talking about DELL I believe. If you had suggested earlier this week that Cisco would settle back to mid 90's I wouldn't have argued with you. If I suggested earlier this week that DELL would pull back (for whatever reason) I would (and was) laughed out of the room. Even if I had said that an overall market downturn would take 10% off I would labeled a trouble maker. You would have said "flight to quality". "DELL is where everyone will put there money." C'mon bud... admit it and let's move on. DELL is not immune - clearly.

That is the inherent different between the two threads as I see it. There is no irrational exhuberance on the Cisco thread and bulls there know that the stock will do well long term but also understand that market downturns and industry issues can and do affect the valuation.

Note: As for the week. You can't compare the two since Dell just announced earnings and their split.
