OOpps! Now I see why a new thread is bad; they ditch the old one after a week of disuse. All our good historic info for newcomers has gone! Thanks Michael for that comment. So far, all that can be said about the drop is that expectations were higher but quarterly results showed people were over-optimistic on timing. Even the LA problems don't seem to be very important. Proof of the flexibility of CDMA with a bit of software design modification. Do you know how many CDMA phones are in use in LA and who is using them? How much of a problem remains to be solved? If the handset modifications are the solution, is it not ready to go now? Doesn't sound quite right as AirTouch are still saying its not ready yet. Thanks, MIW
