Unfortunately the 29th is a very hard day for me to get up north.

1 question I have is why is Plaintree paying Hundreds of thousands of
dollars to ex-executives.
I believe that non-performance is cause enough to let these people go.
No reason for the severance packages. Let them sue!!!

Another question deals with Delaney's statements in re. QWST and LVLT. Are there discussions direct or indirect with these companies.
How does our present product portfolio support these companies' needs.
How will our future product portfolio meet these needs. A related question is At what distance/speeds will our switches will be able to
move data. 20km 100km 200km 500km???? It appears that to support the WAN we would need upwards of 200km much greater than the present 15km limit.

Of course a third questoin is Where the hell is Gigabit Ethernet?!!!!
While I am aware that certain customers are quite pleased with the performance of the QUAD mutiplexing from a marketing point of view and a "saving" face perspective we need to deliver what we promised.

Finally, I may have spoken too soon about CB's admin experience. I have been told recently that Colin has extensive Admin experience. CB is in every day and is cracking the whip. The development teams are being given discipline and being held responsible and accountable for projects. So I hereby publicly apologize for saying that Colin needed to hire someone to run the operations. From what I hear CB is getting the mess others made straightend out.

All he needs to do now is buy some stock in the open mkt to show the long termers that he has faith in himself!!!
