N.0, Richard , this might lead you to a different point of view.

The 88 - to 97 period was created by opening doors, free movement of capital. This has an inherent force that the strong get stronger at expense of the "younger members" (LDC's) or as they are called emerging nations. It was not a pretty sight to see the Russians, pushing to get ahead in line to salvage any Rubles left on deposit.

The sad fact is that once possessed, nobody wants them. This will undoubtebly have to create a command economy. At who's hand? The mafia that controlled the mechanism of STATE LAW?> The number one force that has to be protected are the RULES.

But inevitably soon the links that gathered strength start breaking and the wave of contraction starts. It is and always has been the survival of the fittest. And the fittest are the ones that can do it cheaper and better. Investors need to understand the concept of change. What has changed with SMU?

Well, I digress....

Have a goood day,

: J
