Since Intel now has COMPETITION, the real winners are the consumer buying public!

Those that want value can find it in lower speed CPU's; those that need all the latest bells and whistles can pay more and buy Intel. Frankly, the % of home PC users that can truly use all that speed (game players excepted) can probably be counted on the fingers of one hand. How many home PC users have giant databases or spreadsheets that require >200mhz speed to recalculate or reformat?

When you think about it, with the widespread acceptance of non-Intel processors, we have probably entered into a THREE-tiered market. Kinda like Chevrolet, Oldsmobile and Cadillac. CYRIX and IDTI at the bottom, AMD in the middle, and INTEL at the top. Something to fit everyone's needs......at last!!! Long live COMPETITION!
