<..but I am enthusiastic about Qwest's pioneering deployment of WDM bandwidth..>

You might want to clarify this with Nacchio at your conference, as at H&Q several months back, I asked him about QWST's WDM plans, and he emphatically stated QWST had no current WDM program or plans. Apparently, they feel they have enough BW with their high end O-E that keeps them from needing to even think about WDM for the foreseeable future.

And as you may know, the current scuttlebutt among fund managers recently has been a bandwidth (just a word to many of them) backlash, with datacom (like everything) being sold, due to rumors and perceptions that we are in current BW overcapacity. Presumably your conference will explain and refocus on the importance of BW into the millenium, and especially highlight the difference between current backhaul and (seriously bottlenecked) LL bandwidth capacity.
