No, no, no. The laces were a promotion of Cheetos Extra Cheezy Crunchies. You eat the Cheetos not the laces, silly girl. For edible laces you need the licorice whips and a little caution about what you step in.

I no longer need laces as I wear rubber hip boots all the time now. They look so neat with cutoffs.
