Dan, we can divide the Scriptures into "times past", "now" and future fulfillment. We are under the dispensation of God's Grace and our spiritual blessings concern heavenly rewards and blessings. Howevet, Christ has promises that he made to the nation of Israel that are as yet unfulfilled. The Kingdom promises were put aside when the Jewish people rejected Jesus and will be taken up again at the end times of Christ's Second Coming. We, on the other hand, will be under Grace and will be raptured(translated) during the resurrection of the Saints. We will have no part in the Great Tribulation but the Jewish people and the unsaved will have to go through it. As I said, the Jews are already planning for the temple sacrifices. They are breeding a red heifer for the temple sacrifice and 500 young Jews with a genesis dating back to the tribe of Levi are being trained to serve in the temple as priests. In our time, it would only take a few months to re-build the temple with our modern equipment. Once the age of grace is brought to an end this will occur. This is what I'm trying to explain, that God has a program for all that were saved since pentacost and another Kingdom program for the Jews to fulfill the promises He made to Abraham. Santiago
