I wouldn't have bought it at 34. It wasn't properly disposed at that time. The deals or intent to deal with TCI and BT shows that their global strategy which was only in the formation process back then is for real and has substance. I expect there will be quite a few eye opening deals coming. It is good to see that the company has finally rid itself of the protectionist legacy of the Brown era. My comments weren't addressed to you in particular. You were the last response. I was trying to sneer at the latest Wall Street invention. Two months ago Wall Street was all a buzz about the coming fall in interest rates which they presumed would yield DOW 10,000. The global panic brings all this action into the dollar which creates a transient upside state in the long treasury even while the US is in the process of embedding strong inflation. The irrationality of markets transcends human understanding since understanding requires rational thought at some level. You have to ignore all the nonsense and take advantage of what smart pros in glass and steel towers create in their unbridled zeal to perform.
