Hi Elizabeth,

Earnings and company value tell the story long-term. You are right. I just wish I would hear more about what Novartis is up to; maybe I should visit their web site. As for the market, I figure the best thing to do is just "hang on to the huckleberry bushes" (a Flannery O'Connor phrase) during times like this. The market may go south some more, and it may even go flat for an extended period of time, but one either treats that as a long buying opportunity or gives up on the market and buys a plow and a mule. Not recommended.
