Scott: Those are pretty heavy names.

I don't recognize all of them, but I can add a few points:

There are threads elsewhere on SI (under gold stocks...) for Bob Bishop, Doug Casey and John Kaiser. You could get some additional insights there perhaps.

All three have extremely influential investment newsletters, dealing primarily with Cdn mining stocks.

Ted Carter writes a newsletter called "Carter's Choce". Used to be exclusively a technical trader, but now does more value investing. Famous for getting in early on Bre-X, Ariquipa etc.

Dines writes a very influential newsletter called (I think) Dines Digest out of the U.S.

Adrian Day I believe represents a more conservative investing style.

The rest I am not familiar with. Most (except Ted Carter) are from the U.S. I envy you if you are able to attend this. Should be quite interesting.
