Dave, I don't think our DELL/IDTI combination got much luck today, but the shorts must have been euphoric. In a black-hearted way, I noted that DELL lost over 5%, while IDTI lost a bit more than 3%. If this keeps up for another year our race will be dead-even, though neither of us will have the coin for a Pepsi and Big Mac.
Trying to be fair, your DELL is way ahead of the game we started, and my IDTI is far behind. However, the finish line is still far ahead. Far, far ahead. Perhaps light years ahead. If EITHER of us ever gets there, lunch should be worth a chuckle. I should ask just where you are in Virginia. Each July, I attend an annual navy frogman/SEAL reunion in Norfolk at the U.S. Naval Amphibious Base. If you're in DC or somewhere within hailing distance, I can try to get there. That's if Norfolk didn't float off the map today. I heard Bonnie re-started and 260,000 people there lost power from hurricane winds and rain. Hope you had better luck. Have a good weekend, so we can join the battle on Monday. Regards, Sam |
