Betty, I can assure you that my interest and comments regarding JMAR lately has nothing to do with my position in JMAR. If I posted here according to my JMAR holdings, I'd be another cheerleader. I have no intention of buying JMAR stock or warrants now or in the near future. I'd have to see some REAL news before I'd do that. My only intent here is to give another point of view that I sincerely believe. I'd really like to see JMAR do well. Maybe by raising questions (legitimate questions) it will spur those JMAR people that read this column into getting the job done and you'll make money sooner rather than later. JMAR has been getting a free ride on SI IMHO.
The IBM situation is clearly different than JMAR's and there is little doubt that it will succeed. IBM has the markets and the products. Their XRL will be going into their own products so they already have an outlet. IBM will also be producing chips for others as well. JMAR will be doing neither of those things. If a better mousetrap comes along JMAR could be left out, whereas IBM will still have an outlet for quite awhile.
