<I would be interested to know if anyone can pinpoint the brokerages that are brokering the sales?>

Great idea. I don't have the capability either, but maybe someone out there in Webland does.

<As far as company insiders, Jensen, Twiford, etc do not own enough shares to support the kind of selling that has been underway..

Jack, I disagree. Jensen has millions of shares, or at least he did a few years ago. But he would have to file an SEC notice, and I don't believe he has done that. Of course the company has undoubtedly sold shares in the past from the treasury, but it sounds like that has come to an end with McKay & Company riding to the rescue and agreeing to fund GPGI top profitable production.

<One concept that should not be ruled out is ofshore interests with deep pockets. Perhaps I am being as paranoid as Zeev here, but I bet it ain't the Russians as they are having their own problems right now.>

Yeah, I agree, Canadian and South African mining interests could be shorting through Canadian brokers. They definitely don't want to see us succeed. Not when their mines are located 10,000 feet underground, and not at a time when PGM prices are falling off the cliff.

<We are certainly well into a time of great change in the markets. I saw that today in the financial markets.>

It's just getting started, Jack. Get short and enjoy the ride. Rally possible Monday and/or Tuesday if 8,000 Dow holds, or 505 on the NYSE Composite. But we're headed to 7300 (and possibly 6,000) IMHO. Don't short it just cause I said so, but Jerry Faver (sp?) on CNBC noted Friday that level would equate to the January 6 low on the Dow. All prior set backs following a similar pattern fell to that level for their immediately preceeding histories.

<I am applying for loans in Swiss Fracs, Deutschmarks, and British Pounds--Any takers??>

By the way, how about Ruble loans. They should be able to be paid off at about 10 cents on the dollar in the next three months or so. <vbg>

Regards,

Jeff

Loanley, Jack
