The last good week for the semi-equips was the week closing 10/10/97. With today's close, the group is down 64 percent. The group will have to gain 179 percent to get back to the 10/10/97 level. ASEC at the end of the table is down 89 percent and will have to gain 832 percent to get back to the 10/10/97 point. Only 5 stocks out of 41 have lost less than 50 percent. With the momentum and present outlook, they probably won't last long.
