as for oil, big tex, of all people i thought you'd have heard by now: there's a glut in oil . . . i know, i know, "temporarily a glut . . . supply will get tighter, especially with the tensions in the middle east and when it does, the price will skyrocket" . . .
as for gold, what with the bottom dropping out of so many currencies, might not be a bad idea to buy a little gold to jingle in my pocket, but see, the trick is here folks, you need to buy gold that's "above ground" already . . .makes the transactions easier that way. . .
reminds me of an old tennessee ernie ford song, goes somethin' like this: you load 16 tons, and what do you get? another day older and deeeper in debt . . . st peter don't you call me, 'cause i can't go, i owe my soul to indocan resources" . . . .ha!
