INSTEP NAMES BRIAN ELLIS AS PRESIDENT & CEO
VANCOUVER, Aug. 26 /CNW/ - InStep Mobile Communications (VSE: ISB) today announced that Brian Ellis has agreed to become President and CEO of the Company, replacing Peter L. Bradshaw who will continue his role as Chairman. Mr Ellis will assume his positions following the Company's Annual General Meeting on September 18, 1998. Ellis joins Instep from TIR Systems, where he served as Vice-President, Sales and Marketing for four years. At TIR, Ellis was responsible for developing and implementing a five year strategic plan for The Light Pipe, TIR's unique lighting solutions for niche markets worldwide, defining and introducing new products, as well as managing sales and distribution. Prior to TIR, Brian held operations, sales and marketing management positions at MPR Teltech Ltd where his responsibilities included the management of a telecommunications based business unit and the marketing and sales of multi- million dollar digital network applications.
