Market.

Abby Cohen made comments about the market again today. She echos my sentiments exactly.

Sentiment is one of those things that can change on a dime. People want to own stocks; they are just afraid of them right now. Once the sentiment changes, the money will come pouring back in as fast as it left. You can see that in the way the market traded today...sharp rallies followed by sharp declines several times today. I think the volatility is being caused by more day traders than usual...i.e. traders jumped on stocks when they started going up and dumped them when they started going down. The S&P futures were all over the place today. The market will sustain a rally when more people who are buying stocks decide that they want to hold them longer than thirty minutes.
