Chuca: <<Dale on -just said.."from early morn to late at night..Maxam Gold is always on my mind! >>
If Maxam Gold succeeds, I predict Dale Runyon he will be on everyone's mind. In fact, he will be front page news in every major business newpaper in the country.
When you take a step back and look at the big picture, Maxam Gold is so very close to success. Their ore fire assays and the fire assay protocol is repeatable (witness the fire assay results of several labs). How many other DD companies can fire assay on a routine basis without controversy? None. Even with simple screening, the ore fire assays, witness the recent news release highlighting the non-COC ore that will be used for the 20 pound leach tests. It is said that if you can fire assay the ore, you can recover the gold. With this half of the battle already won, all that is needed now is to demonstrate recovery.
We know that the chlorine/bromine leach dissolves gold, in something like 15-30 minutes or so. I'm beginning to think that recovery from 20 pound samples would be very noteworthy news because it would show the first real, side by side comparison of fire assay with leach recovery from 20 pound samples. And since Maxam is doing it ten times, consistent results cannot be dismissed as fluke. If the press release announcing results is worded correctly, I think people will understand it.
What is past is prologue, and if Maxam can demonstrate the ability to recover metal in solution, that should be sufficient to attract funding for further work. |
