Doug, the IPM scam was carefully prepared and looked valid at first and to many still looks valid. There was no "scam" sign on it, just warnings.
At some point you will find out who is/was behind the scam. I suspect there were a few people drawn in who are innocent. Perhaps the crooks do not show at all and all the people visible are honest? people who got paid for their names and work etc.

The ultimate 'flag' of a scam is the falsehood of the basic premise of the scam. In this case gold/plat in black rock.

Had this been a straight exploration effort where money is gathered for a job of work in exploration(like Charles group) then the risks would be known and that is it.

this was sold as a box with $100 billion in it with huge profits as we take the box and open it up. sadly as you opened the box you discerned within it another box, and again and again as you tried to penetrate to the ultimate box another box would impede you.

This whole thing depended on no-one ever assaying the dirt. Alomost two years ago i suggested that a secret dirt assay be done at night. Within 2 days the trench was filled in.

At that point it was clear that it was a scam and the management was in on it, they read and posted to SI.

So you go and name some names if you like, you know them better than i do.

It was obviously a con to get you to buy the scam that there was $$ in black rock dirt.

If the gold/plat was there why did they need you guys at all? Stay private and get rich. No they needed a sucker pool to transfer money from. With knowledge of the release of data they could milk long/short positions. They could even take down the reg s shares offshore themselves, short on shore and cover when the time had passed and the stock had dropped.
