micheal..I get online news right to my pc emial.. there is no quote like that. An analsyt said that some stores had allot of cpq inventory on some units. cpq responded the same day with all stores were w/i their model. which means they had not substracted out sales. remember if they expect returns then they substract those out of the number rather than report them and then be surpirsed with a return. then the conquer the world repat blips by pfief and winller last month at comdex. soon , store inventory will be in ther 10 second mrp system and dave d. said no body needs<g>. you are going to have to separate gate and mu and others from compaq and ask yourself is the street going to tank cpq regardless of their good numbers and plans and will they tank them as much. This is the key..I'm oly trying to help..remember I've been thru this so many times with compaq that I can do it blindfolded now. It's why I can predict cpq allot better than mb and he's an expert and certainly leo too. cpq has this qtr destroyed. it will be enough over that they will move stuff to next qtr and smooth out that weakness and make it look good.
