The release of Solais 2.7 in October is good for MSFT's investor, because it will force
Microsoft to show what is in its sleeve and probably release the NT5 even earlier. Besides , I do not think Microsoft's R&D is
so dumb to develop the NT5 with over 40 millions line of codes but have less performance comparing with Solaris which had only 11 millions of codes.
As a consumer, I seldom heard of Solaris, but NT. That is the problem of SUN. A
product with good technology does necessary mean it will be a good product acceptable by the market , not to mention that if it is not technically superior .At least from your post that 40 millions of code lines vs 11 millions of code line, tell me which product will be powerful and much powerful.
