Okay, first let's get our facts straight. Muslims account for 25% of the world's population (1.5 Billion). Second, to say that "Muslim militants have fun killing" other people is outrageous and only gives insight on how much you know on this subject.
Every religion has its extremists - not just Islam. It's just that the Western World concentrates on a select few in an attempt to portray a poor light on the 1.49999 Billion Muslims that are peace loving. "Islam" means "Peace." The religion is all about peace. So why do you have extremists killing people?
It's something they see that you don't. In the Middle East thousands of Muslims are slaughtered by other groups of anti religious people. It turns out these "extremists" are retaliating against America because America is funding these attacks. I'm not saying that the killings are right, but telling you why the extremists think they're right.
So where's the proof? They say they have evidence. I'm sure you'd be quick to say they're lying but you seem to be very willing to accept the U.S.'s position that Osama Bin Laden bombed the U.S. Departments in Africa yet they can't prove it (the exact words were, "its confidental). The U.S. has also failed to prove that the Chemical Factory in Sudan was made to produce never gas. When questioned about it, the U.S. responded they had "internal sources that proved without a doubt" that the factories were used to produce gas. But again, they aren't willing to tell the world about it.
According to Islam, God hates the starter of wars. Further, if you are defending your lives (which is the only justification for fighting) then you must not ever kill women, children, or civilians. People not fighting or involved cannot be harmed in any way, shape, or form. It goes against the entire religion's teachings. Unfortunately some extremists don't care and go against the religious mandates. They are no different than the IRA's bombings that killed many Christians. But you don't see anyone claiming that the IRA was "having fun."
(Indeed did anyone hear of any muslim majority country expressing either regrets or outrage over the twin bombings and dead babies, women, and children in either Kenya or Tanzania?? Maybe they did, but it sure escaped my attention...).
Oh Gee Whiz, I didn't hear regrets from France, Spain, Japan, China, Australia, etc. either. This must mean these countries are terrorists to.
To answer your question, yes they expressed regret but it wasn't aired on CNN for some reason.
