excerpt from new CTSL newsletter: "...Ligand Pharmaceuticals...ended the quarter with $54 million in cash. That is sufficient to see the company through the launch of both Ontak and Panretin Gel. We expect approval by yearend and a launch to follow quickly for both products. "...By the end of next year LGND could have five products on the market and a handful more in Phase II or later trials. Despite that, the stock dropped in half from its March highs. Buy now. There is a lot of good news directly in front of us, beginning with the announcement of a date to meet the oncology advisory panel, probably in October. That announcement should come by the end of next week...."
