Roger:

I haven't had a chance to go over it thoroughly, but the biz section of today's NYTimes is worth a read. A few snippets: One guy, who quit his job managing health clubs to manage his portfolio was quoted as being down 50% in the last couple of weeks. Other similar horror stories and these little market gurus (read market morons) keep saying the decline is health, temporary and the market always goes up.

In just a skimming of todays offerings in the NYT, I just can't get overly optimistic about the short term future. My Lowry's letter painted a potentially dim outlook also. I am not about to mortgage the mansion, max the credit cards (of which I deliberately have none)or anything similar in order to go short some more, but I am content being as short as I am.

Scott

P.S. I finally pulled the trigger on CTXS. Not a large position but I am in the game.
