Joe, my last post got me interested in MASK. It heads the list selling at a PE of 8 for this years earnings and a PE of 7 for next years earnings. I know you follow this stock pretty closely. Thursday, it closed at 12.88 and Friday it closed at 11.75 (I had it listed at 12.00 from another source) for a 9 percent drop.

As you know, their last earnings report for the 1st qtr closing 30 June was a record. Revenues increasing 29 percent, and net income increased 23 percent. Even with that performance, their price is down 46 percent from 10/10/97, although that is third best performance out of the 41 stocks.

It seems that in this kind of market, no one differentiates the good guys from the bad guys. No matter what stock you are in you're going to lose - big time!! Best to take your money off the table and wait for "reason" to set in again.

MASK is obviously going to be a big winner at some point in the future, but how much better to buy at 12 than 24 (on 10/2/97 it closed at 24)! Actually, with the present downward momentum, how far could it go? The low was 9.94 on 5/1/97 and 8.25 on 3/15/96. Maybe it would be possible to buy some this year in that region. From 11.75 to 8.25 is only another 30 percent down - we only need 3 more days like Friday and we are nearly there. Nice thought, huh?
