Anyone for another interesting coincidence similar to the 10/5-10/6/98 WSJ NYC conference at which ASND, LU and Juniper reps are attending? In my 9/7/98 dead-tree Business Week on pages 108-109 (they offer the hard copy for an additional $4/year when you subscribe to the on-line version), there is an ad for the 1998 Global Convergence Summit in NYC on 10/28/98 entitled "Come Get Plugged In," A Conference for Senior Executives in the Entertainment, Media and Communications Industries. Presented by BusinessWeek, in partnership with PriceWaterhouse, and sponsored by France Telecom and Siemens. Okay, the interesting part once again is the featured participants, which include Eric Benhamou (3Com CEO) and Fred Fromm (Siemens Telecom Networks CEO). COMS and Siemens -- a long rumored combination especially if LU/ASND get together in early to mid-10/98?
