Abby Cohen is simply a well-paid mouthpiece. If Manhattan was nuked by a terrorist, she would probably still be calling for Dow 9300 this year. Ridiculous. Some people are simply too optimistic. If you have 100% of your money in stocks, I guess you have to be ultra-optimistic, even in the short term. But the ultra-optimists could be in for some serious shocks before the end of the year. Some people don't see anything wrong with driving the nifty 50 further into the stratosphere. I say if something seems too good to be true... Joe S.
