MENT's offer is expiring in a week. Does any one still see the potential of a higher bid? If there is any, it should be announced by now, isn't it?

Like to know why QKTN is trading below MENT's cash offer price of $12 (even before the recent market correction)? Can people pick up some QKTN on the open market and resell them to MENT? Or could MENT buy them now on the open market and save some bucks? Don't think it is that simple but don't know how it works. Would like to get educated on this subject.
