We're limited in the things that are immediately achievable in this space without them, save for some limited situations where Cable modem and DSL/wireless services support VoIP, which are gaining ground, but still paltry, IMO.

Hello, Frank, and thanks for stopping by. I agree with your statement, and just want to add a comment that I made to you previously and to which you responded in detail. That comment was that satellite-based caching systems might play a substantial role in the bandwidth issue. By near-instantaneous caching of traffic that is not latency-sensitive, such as the top 10% or so of web pages that account for a large amount of IP traffic, VoIP would benefit tremedously. Not just VoIP, but every other time-sensitive bandwidth-rich traffic. No need to expound, as you already have in a previous response to me.
