The U.S. has a growing service sector and dwindling manufacturing sector... My guess is probably 50/50 at this point with the Service area on its way to about 75%... The advanced economies move towards service while the emerging economies move into manufacturing... I liken this to moving from a blue collar job to a white collar job with a suit... : >

So, the Transports still reflect a large chunk of the related business in our economy...

Here's a look at a 4 year chart of the Spyders (SPY) S&P closed end fund... Friday it closed below the 200 day MA... Also, it closed below the mid band Bollinger Band for the first time in 4 years on big volume... Not a good sign...
