LT - a thorough report on the HK situation is linked below:

bloomberg.com

Do you remember the other day I copied the news about Malaysian government wanting to follow HK's footstep and buy local stocks? Well, there has been no widely publicised report of the buying after that day and this weekend the central banks top man and his deputy resigned, replaced by a less experienced but probably politically more correct daughter of a well regarded royal professor. HK has the second highest reserve after Japan and Malaysia has none. Maybe one day was all they could buy.
