Spunk... let me give it a whirl.
1. There is no Company in the world that will guarantee that they will positivily do this. Down to IBM.. MSFT etc. So this question is off base.
2. Again they can not nor will not make guarantee's. The scumbag lawyers would love to see this so they could make a federal case out of it if they did not buy the exact amount on the day they said.

3. If they give a timetable... again the scumbag lawyers will watch every tick and sue if they miss one beat. Even you would not subject yourself to a timetable with as many scum that are out there.

4. They have to have the cash or the shorts would have a field day with them making such a statement. Hell it's easy to find out if the do have the cash. However, there are lines of credit.

5. Now this question is a good one. Only they know this!! And they sure as hell are not going to admit that it might.

Bottom line... they bought stock last week. After they buy more they will announce just how much. I agree with you that many stock buy backs are smoke screens to save the stock price. These guys stepped up the the plate on Friday. Remember... Freidman Billings is the man (FRBC) I bet they are back soon.
