What I found interesting was the report that both China and the US had each offered $10M US to the HKMA if they needed it.

Taiwan has banned Soro's hedge funds from trading, HK is instituting market reforms to make it more difficult for the major hedge funds. I think we'll see all of the smaller markets developing restrictions to prevent market manipulation.

THe hedge funds may have overplayed their hand. THe result has been disastrous for many SE Asian countries and Russia. By trying for the 'big bucks' short term, they may have shot themselves down long term.

They may have killed the goose.
