Ron, I have to agree,too. It was a painful lesson I just learned
recently. I just bought "When to sell for the '90s" by Justin
Mamis, and the author essentially says "It's supply and demand,
stupid". He points at numerous examples where buy-and-hold
strategies have failed even for great companies (IBM etc).
Even though I'm just 42 pages into this 350 page book,
I recommend it. Amazon sells it for $20. The author has
impressive credentials.
