The article you reference exemplifies how Larry E. should be responding to the MSFT threat from hereon -- with actions, not words.

Let the products speak for themselves. Larry should need no assistance in enabling the marketplace to finally realize the shortcomings of MSFT products as their efforts to move to the back office will not be as successfuls as their desktop products.

The gov't is keeping a close watch on the boy in Redmond. They will not be able to get-away with their under-handed tactics that succeeded their lock-hold on the desktop.

IMHO, MSFT finest days are behind them. Insiders sales at MSFT & DELL do tell a story that is more than just macro-economic.
