I just couldn't resist a response, just this once, to Addi's post on Clinton's troubles.
The article linked below is a great read for anyone wanting to get a handle on Russia's real problem. It relates to Addi's post because the same deteriorating type of selfishness is at work.
While Mr. Clinton may have shown serious disregard for any semblance of reserve that the Oval Office once had, the richest Russians are also living it up worldwide, living off ill begotten wealth at the expense of their country, and at a time when Russia very much needs industrious, wealthy and benevolent citizens.

----------------------- Addi,
Apparently having sex with a very young intern/employee in the Oval Office study, even while foreign dignitaries are kept waiting, is ok with you, and lying about it to his employer [the American people] is ok too; but I doubt you would approve of it if these were the habits of the CEO of any company you might hold stock in.
IMHO Clinton's behavior has been juvenile.
Seems he literally got caught with his pants down, and possibly while on the job, no less, and you are trying to blame everyone but BC, who brought this whole thing upon himself for not fully appreciating and showing some respect for the position he is in.
This is the character of the man, exposed, and his selfish, careless behavior has not only further weakened himself, but now he has smeared the Presidential office of the most powerful nation in the world.......putting this at risk for something so meaningless as cheap thrills is total folly!
Too bad, too, because the world needs a very strong American President ......especially right now.
I wonder what a man like you might say if the president was a woman doing the same thing, or if the First Lady was having a grand time with someone similar, say, in Lincoln's bedroom! or hmmmmmm......let's try the Blue Room! <gg> Sheesh Addi, it could get pretty wild in that big White House, come to think of it..........so, is that cool or not?
OK, a new kind of rules of order........none! <gg>
Seriously, the Clintons did not even own their own home before he became President, but they have enjoyed a worldly lifestyle since being in office...........and, like his raison d'etre, an overly puffed up and irrational market, he's had an overly puffed up and irrational presidency, so now he could be in for a very hard fall.......(hope he stashed some cash :>)
FWIW I feel that Hitler was juvenile, too. I find this a particularly dangerous combo..........childishness and power. Like you, I don't feel comfortable while we're in the process of rooting out corruption, but it has to be done, and it could get as disgusting as the rot it exposes. So, depending on how rotten things are, maybe the digging will stop here, maybe not........we'll just have to see.......but imho we can't just ignore it.
Well, that's about it for my view of it........
hey! You brought it up! <g>
