Mark (from Steve),

"As far as being sinless to be accepted by god, I believe (but may be wrong) that gods non acceptance of people until they are sinless is a major cornerstone of christianity."

We are sinners, all of us! God knows this. What Christianity says is that we have to accept we are sinners, we can do nothing about it, and know Jesus was our substitunary sacrifice, to atone for our sins. We never have to be perfect. In fact, when approaching God, we have to know we are not perfect, and cannot be perfect! We need him to make up for our sins.

"according to my understanding of christianity, we are born sinners and cannot be fully accepted by god until we are washed of those sins by his grace."

Our sins are washed away once we accept God's gift of salvation. We sinned before, and will sin after we accept his gift. The difference, we will be accountable for our sin if you do not accept Christ and you will be forgiven for them if you do accept it.

All you need to do is truly ask for the gift, knowing you are a sinner and you can do nothing to stop committing sin on your own. This is far from bind submission as you mentioned. In fact, if you call it blind submission, you are blindly submissive everyday to many imperfect people. Need examples????

God Bless,
Steve
