Are you sure about the SEC going to bar the rampant shorters? I disagree. Manupulation? What else could be said about the market these days? Without the manipulation of the MMs how could anyone buy low and sell high? Smaller investors? Law of the jungle is the name of the game. Watch a couple of Nature programs on PBS you will understand we are in nature still not that far from the advent of the dino age, only our claws are sharper. Take a look at AFCI and what had happened to those who bought in at the thirties. I don't have it but without that many dumping and shorting it I probably would never be able to buy it below 5. Not happened yet, though.
