JEB, Warren Buffet started buying silver in July 1997, I believe he finished buying in March of this year. What a coincidence, he started buying silver about the same time Thailand devalued. The gold rumor about Japan dumping the dollar and buying gold is current, I just heard it yesterday. AAPL earned about 1.50 eps so far this year and looks to be at 1.80 after next qtr., so the P/E that shows up is a trailing P/E. Their current P/E is about 20 and I would not short it here. Don't get me wrong, I don't like AAPL, I think their new pc is overpriced without a floppy drive, that costs extra.
