The Duke was a great surfer from Hawaii and is generally recognized as having individually popularized the sport of surfing several decades ago. His era used redwood surfboards. This evolved to balsa and on to today's foam boards. Today's boards are extremely manuverable. By comparison, the redwood boards were very heavy and difficult to turn. What would he do? What would any fun loving surfer do? Shoot the curl, catch air, break free. Like NSCP et al.

Surf's up!
